We are witnessing history in the making! The Republican party in the 32nd district is making a comeback with two outstanding candidates: David Truax, former Mayor of Covina and Betty Chu former Mayor of Monterey Park? Regardless they have spunk and zeal! Betty would be great on the banking committee or perhaps Secretary of Commerce. She may even be the right person to Chair the Federal Reserve Bank.
David Truax is an awesome negotiator with principles and convictions. He's primary role is to work with Governors to get back their tax money for projects that are worthy and increase security, jobs, services to the communities that mainstreet people live - not pork barrel, special interest projects!
I'd like to see David Truax as President and Betty Chu - Vice President.
What an awesome team!

Run to the Victory
A grass roots effort is growing to elect DAVID TRUAX, former Mayor of Covina, to the office of Representative for the 32nd Congressional District.
David Truax is highly respected in his hometown of Covina, by clergy, by city officials, by the police and fire department as well as the citizens who voted him in by a wide margin two times. Running for the 32nd District is not a part time job. He is reorganizing his life because he believes that he can make a difference in the political situation in Washington, DC on behalf of the voters of the 32nd District.
Without the backing of any political party at this time, Truax is going directly to the people he hopes to represent to ask for their endorsement and votes.

A Navy Veteran of six years active service, Truax wants continued improved care for veterans. A graduate of the California State University at Pomona with a degree in Business Management, Truax knows what small business is all about - creating jobs. He also believes in a fair tax system that returns tax dollars to the tax payers.
Without investment in new and promising technology, the USA will be left behind when it comes to creating massive new jobs and potential for exports, so this will be a priority - new technology for putting Americans back to work with long lasting jobs that will not end when the government contract ends.
Finally, the he hopes to put a limit on the practice of banks and lending institutions of practicing "usury" (charging high unreasonable credit card interest rates) to the people who can least afford them. While banks are getting huge bailouts they are rewarding their credit card customers with huge over limit fees, late fees and credit card interest rate increases. This has to be changed.
Finally, the government has increased it's size and scope of control with the passing of this huge stimulus package that will put the burden of repayment on the backs of future generations without accountability to the people.
As it is noted, that most of congress did not even carefully read the stimulus package they just passed --- and voted for it. Now, they are all blaming each other for approving bonus pay for employees of the large corporations they were bailing out.
Now they want to penalize these corporations for following the terms of the stimulus according to the terms that the CONGRESS has set forth and that the President signed into law.
How dumb it that? We need to send some smart common sense people to Washington... NOT MORE OF THE SAME.
We need someone who is willing to RUN TO THE VICTORY free of political baggage.
